Four of our teams entered the Northwood Tournament yesterday - facing extreme weather conditions but our first trophy of season was won by our U11 team! Well done boys.

The day started with our new U9 team coming together as a new team but displaying good skills and comraderie and playing well in each one of their 5 group games. The sun was out all morning and so a great start to the tournament season. Well done to Myles who captained his first U9 team through a tough group of games.

We had two U10 teams who made our club proud by playing in the rain and demonstrating their skills and techniques, working even harder as neither team had a sub. Every player should be applauded for their individual contributions to each team and well done to U10 Blacks for getting to the semi finals and narrowly missing out on a spot in the Cup final.

Our U11 team captained by Hector, have won our first trophy of the season and all players should be congratulated. They faced some tough teams but played from the outset like they wanted that win. WELL DONE U11s.
